inane: he wasn't "ejected" I believe he was queried as to the amount he had drunk and whether it was time he should be leaving

No, the staff member who spoke to him was very firm with him.

It makes me kinda glad that the sponsors didn't put too much money on the bar, or we all could have ended up like that. Well, I know I probably would have and staggering out of there with a huge printer would have been a tad awkward!

Great night! Next time I will try not to turn up not feeling the bestiest...Tongue out

It was good to finally put faces to names, whether or not I will remember them? Well now that is another story!

Oh and scott/christ021 next time you plan to do a surprise visit on someone, make sure they will be there! You look at tad foolish when you turn up and the person you are looking for is not there! Laughing

I would just like to thank eveyone for the great night out!!

MF and all the sponsors including Telecom NZ coming to the party. Thanks for the Beer and more beer and pizza and prizes!!

The thanks is a bit delayed due to the plane that was meant to bring me home broke down so another night in Wellington paid for by the airline. We got booked into the James cook motel (that  was full) We found out after we got dropped off there by the shuttle! Should have seen the look on the ladys face behind the counter!!

John

Within seconds of entering "The Establishment" The Hoff (chris021) got a smack in the guts by one of the lovely young ladies that were walking around selling shots. One can only assume she didn't like him being such a blatant perv :-)

Does anyone who picked up one of the little Novell Suse Geecko plushies no longer want theirs?  My baby girl loved the one I got for her (first toy she named herself) but lost it during a trip to the zoo in the weekend.  Just thought I'd try here first before trying to grease ione out of Novell direct.
