On a new thread (which is where I have the problem)

Paragraph one.

Paragraph two.

Paragraph three.

Turns into

Paragraph one.

Paragraph two.

Paragraph three.

Line breaks are different too. Before I think I hit enter twice between paragraphs. Now I only need to hit enter once, the gap looks bigger.

Thanks. Still different from mine - I still need more information to be able to identify this - browser/OS/any script blockers. Is this typing into the window or copy and paste?

Latest Chrome on W7 and W10, Adblock Plus. Typing into a Window. If you have real trouble with it drop into my place some time.

IE11, Windows 7, work computer wink

2nd Line, hit shift + return twice to get here, showed a single line gap between line above. Single return to this line, no shift, shows a smaller gap to the line written above.

edit.

First 2x shift plus enter entries have been retained.

Single return has now merged into the line above once edited.

Should also point out that this was in the quick reply section to the thread. I didn't go into the formal compose a reply section.

On my work PC, where I've had the problem, is running IE 11 (Windows 7 and Citrix).

There's definitely an ad blocker running, but I can't see what it is (believe it to be Adblock Plus).

Shows up as:

Firefox 43.0.4 - no adblock in this browser.

Biggest issue I have is that when I press quote on things it strips all the line breaks out of that before giving me the editor. Like this:

You can see its killed the new lines before the (as it shows part of that.

Also this moving down 2 lines when I press enter once is super annoying.

Another Firefox* user chiming in here. I just created a thread with the RTE, went back to add a word, and lost the paragraphs.

The original post had a
element for each paragraph, but the "internal" elements were removed when I edited (ie. there was still a single
element around the entire post, but no

between paragraphs).

*SeaMonkey 2.39, which is based on Firefox 42.

Edit: Same problem as richms with quotes; I just tried quoting his post and lost all the paragraphs.
