+1 from me.

Great to see this event coming to the South Island. Smile

I'll post a link to this to the The Valley in Christchurch tech dinner mailing list also. (In Christchurch, never been? Come along next month...)

--Phil.

P.S. Found out about the event via Mauricio's post on Planet NZTech--got a NZ tech blog? Get it added...

Bradstewart is coming alone - the +1 means he will be eating for two...

Nate was referring to the sheep Brad will no doubt have close by - it took me a couple of reads to pick that up too :-)

In understood that on the first time I read it. I just decided to ignore it because it is a joke I am sure Brad wouldn't appreciate.

Was abit hesitant about posting but thought you'd get my light hearted joke Smile  Was adding to the ongoing joke that someone started when the Air New Zealand had the free flights - someone mentioned we should all go to Dunedin and visit you and your sheep.

Feel free to fire back with something about JAFAs...

Back on topic, why was Wellington on a weeknight, Auckland is on a weeknight and Christchurch is, which makes the most sense, on during the weekend???

Nate . .

Wellington was at it's conception only going to be a small gathering and it was a date that suited a few of us that were "in" from the start.

Auckland is to suit when MF is already in Auckland

Feedback was taken onboard for Chch and hence it is on a weekend :-)

I thought it was my yelling and crying that got Chch (and South Island) the attention.... *LOL*

If you need a place to stay, and don't want to spend big bucks... check out Hotel SO. It's a modern hotel with wifi available in each room. Some room do not have windows and pretty compact style but cosy and stylish (from the look) not bad for just a place to rest your night.
