Everyone who registered and correctly answered the question had the same chance - so it was a fair competition.

We had about 823 entries out of about 1100 - removed all duplicates (yes some people tried), incorrect answers (yes, there were quite a few).

About 50% of those entries were Kiwis, with a few new registrations. The other entries were split between all countries, but the majority from the U.S., India, the UK and the other countries.

To everyone who registered, well done. To everyone who decides to come back frequently, welcome.

My pleasure. Not every day we can get a big company to come and participate with such huge prizes...

Guys, just keep an eye in our RSS feeds. We always have some giveaway going on - not all with international reach, but quite a few over the year.

Congrats Martinb!

Also congrats to Mauricio for having Geekzone selected for the competition. Things like this are really a testiment to the success of Geekzone. Also, Geekzone was one of only two website to participate in the competition who use a counrty specific domain (The other is bink.nu from the Netherlands) so another testiment to the global success of this New Zealand based website.

There are some interesting facts... Although a couple of the sites did not link directly to the 31 Days of the Dragon hub site, Geekzone was the #2 largest referer to that site - behind Google searches only.

Also, New Zealand was the #2 country in number of visitors to that site, only behind the U.S. and just ahead of the UK.

Interesting to put New Zealand and Geekzone in perspective when you talk numbers, right?
