Has this been rolled out to everyone or am I seeing it accidentally?
@Tainvula I have removed the block and everyone should be seeing it now.

Personally I'd like the option to either not show it (saving the query) or just collapse it so it can be shown or hidden (not really concerned if it's just done client side with JS/CSS and locally saved state). It takes up... quite a bit of space.
EDIT: I also hate hate hate that it opens a new tab/window. I don't like when sites dictate this, if I want a new tab/window I have the command/control/shift keys.

Can agree, it would be good to have it turned on by default, but collapsable or able to be turned off in the options.

I agree to some degree with that. You have to consider we have a very diverse audience and some people have no idea control/command alternate behaviour exist.
As for making it an option, sure - can make it similar to the "Most visited forums" which is an option in the profile.

So that is pretty cool.
Speaking only for myself, I would rather be able to toggle the right hand LIVE panel between LIVE and RECENTLY PARTICIPATED.

While I hate that they open a new tab/window, I actually hate more that it's not consistent with other links on the same page. They look like forum links, quack like forum links, but open a new window, and no other links on the same page do so. Consistency is more important than the actual behaviour IMO.
Thanks for considering an option to hide it.
@freitasm Is there any way to remove a single 'recently updated topic' from this list? At some stage I posted in the 'President' topic, and while I don't have any interest in it any more, it is always present on my list, due to its popularity.
I understand it is a bit of an edge case.

Is it possible to tweak the formatting of the RHS column of the 'recently updated topics' so that the word 'replies' is not taking up a whole line? It looks like once the number of replies grows above 100 it bumps the word 'replies' to a new line on it's own.
