josephhinvest: If we're making requests.... maybe in the future it would be possible to have differently coloured theme options, the current beige/gray is fine, just a bit... dated? Personally I do my time on here on my TV, so I would love a dark mode. I like the colour scheme of Synoforum as an example.

Cheers,
Joseph

I assume you are broadcasting to your TV from a tablet or similar. Opera has a night mode which might achieve what you want.

on 1440p 27" screen its a lot to large.

CTRL+ to enlarge, CTRL- to decrease. On Mac I think it's command+ and command-

My TV is a Sony 4K 65 inch, my computer is my trusty Mac mini, running at 1920x1080 60fps. So I don’t actually get much screen real estate when browsing. I often manually set website zoom factors to make them more usable for me. Geekzone as an example is set to 125%. I pretty much exclusively use dark modes when available as I’m in my nice dark cave!

Ctrl + mouse wheel does the same thing, much faster. Ctrl + 0 resets to 100%.

Definitely easier on the eyes on a 32" 4K at 100% scale 👍

I can't believe I had to scroll down this far to see this...

Testing with soft line break (Shift+Enter) right here -->
and a hard line break (Enter) -->

Just to see what it looks like.

Unless anyone can recommend a lightweight Chrome plugin that remembers zoom settings by site?

Firefox does this by default if you use that.

I use a high-resolution laptop and on my desktop (3440 x 14410). The 14px font size is pretty good.

Yes, could have a user-selectable size option - currently really busy on my day job but could do this at some point in the future.

14px is better than the first version, however what it was before the change still suited me better.

Before it was 13px with 1.0 line height.

Then changed to 15px with 1.3 line height.

Now it's 14px with 1.3 line height.

Wait, how does that work. It now looks smaller and doesn't take as much to scroll through the COVID-19 topic ..

*confused*

Back to work I go ...

The latest change is definitely my favorite. I am glad of the original change (At first, like lots of people I wondered if I had accidentally clicked a zoom option) but the current way it looks like right, I like a lot more.

Yes the latest change for me also (14px). I have my fonts quite small normally.
