No. For one good reason: sometimes it does happen that someone might send spam via PM. We block most countries where those kinds of messages come from, but sometimes it happens.

If we deliver this message via email, our servers will be marked as source of spam and everything goes downhill from there.

So the answer is no.

Hi, I have noted that emails on threads I have contributed to and more importantly emails alerting me of PMs dont seem to appear. I have not changed the email setting in GZ and have checked that they are still correct, ie address detail and old default emailing profile is still in place. I still recieve heaps of emails daily from all and sundry contributing email accounts, so dont believe its an issue at my end (not to say its not), but mysteriously there has been no traffic from GZ even though I have had several PMs, and several comments on threads I have commented on.

Anyone else noted the same.

Cyril

As an aside I still seem to recieve heaps of lottery winnings, if you can make the emails from GZ work and the lottery wins dissapear I would be well chuffed :)

Nothing wrong on this side... Receiving tons of emails from Geekzone every day. Sure it's not going to a spam folder?

Sent a test message through our server and it arrived. Checked your user profile and it's ok. I guess it's one of your smtp servers receiving the emails and classifying as junk...

I have made a small change in our SMTP FQDN parameter. Will see if you receive a test message...
