He would notice me mostly posting from IPv6 now. With the exemption from Home.
Got a Juniper J2320 router to configure, might set that up at home to manage native IPv6 :)

We don't have a full month yet so don't have the network reports. I have also setup Google Custom Variables last week so the results are not yet representative... Let's wait for the end of July.

I can say at the moment IPv6 traffic is really small.

We are tracking some new stuff on Google Analytics. Since 1st July we had 0.39% of visits coming through an IPv6 address. This is 478 visits on IPv6 against 122,276 on IPv4.

Noodles: I guess only the hardcore are running ipv6!

There are probably other people who did the same thing as me: Temporarily set up v6, found it a bit problematic, and made a post or two then reverted to v4. Unfortunately there's a bug in my router firmware that makes it too much trouble to use v6 until I can get a static v4 IP address.

I don't deny that I'm hardcore though! ;)

I tried Gogo6 but couldn't get it to work. More specifically I couldn't find a download for the Mac client; it said "download it here" but the link only offered a Windows client and the source code. I ended up using TunnelBroker and the tunnel function in my router.

magu: Cool. That means that all my devices on the internal network are visible on the net.

I can see this is going to be huge.

Interesting. I have just use PING -6 geekzone.co.nz and I did get a response, but the browsers didn't sow IPv6. I then checked my IPCONFIG and I do have a 6to4 IP address - it means my new CISCO Business router is 6to4 enabled. Added the IP to my hosts file and it worked.

However, and could someone test this, when using IPv6 I couldn't QUOTE or COMPOSE REPLY. If you can test this please report here and I will check it during the weekend.

Don't worry - found the problem. It only happened for Moderators and Administrators. Fixed now. Nothing to see here!

I'm the same as above.

Why is it that you have to add the ipv6 address into the hosts file with 6to4? I've got a linksys wrt610n and I can ping -6 geekzone.co.nz but when browsing it defaults to ipv4 unless I specify the ipv6 address in the hosts file on Windows 7

Well just learnt I just did IP6 over 4..

Anyone looking at using
- Draytek 120 as bridge
- Draytek 2130 then to connect using IPv6? http://www.draytek.com/user/PdInfoDetail.php?Id=116

If I've understood correctly this should be an entry for a post from an IPv6 address
