Fantastic - well done and thx to everyone who past on to freitasm their excellent comments and helpful hints concerning this. It certainly makes for a more enjoyable read of the site, though I still zoom in a little bit due to my eyesight.

I still can't see the insert youtube URL button though? I can see the insert URL link, and insert Picture buttons, but not the video one?...

Have you considered declaring the font family using the san-serif keyword instead of a specific font?
https://css-tricks.com/sans-serif/

This means the browser/os chooses the best/default san-serif font to use, currently Arial on Windows and Helvetica on Mac.

Yes, testing the sans-serif option but it seems your system doesn't default to Arial as expected.

Reversing that.

This seems like a good idea.
Most linux systems default to Dejavu sans / serif fonts.
I'd love to see this when I visit geekzone.
Currently my linux distro substitutes Liberation-sans for Arial - but the dejavu fonts are that much nicer.

On which os/browser?

For example Android doesn't have Arial so you'll only see Droid Sans or Roboto (unless you use a web font) even if you specify Arial.

Would be interesting to know what os/brower quickymart is using to get something like Lucidia Console as the default san serif...

I'd wager bung Firefox config.

The issue with long words typically hyperlinks is a bit worse with the new scheme.

I can 'request desktop' to get away from some of them.

I noticed in many the cause is a long hyperlink at the end of an existing line. Is it possible to force a break prior? Ie; where text and href are the same. That would prevent a fair proportion.

But what is a long term solution for this?
