Most excellent. Thanks everyone for your support and co-ordination!

Can anyone suggest places nearish by to stay? Not top of the range but better than backpackers for 2 - 3 - 4 people.

Waitangi Park is always a popular location for a snooze after a big night. Normally on the weekends it's quite busy but on a Wednesday I'm sure you'll find a bench.

I stayed at the Halswell Hotel on Kent Terrace a few years ago and it was good for affordable, middle-of-the-road accommodation.

My parents also recently stayed at the motels on Majoribanks Street which was nice...I forget the name now but someone else may jog my memory.

What is protocol / etiquette for such a gathering regarding "toys"?

Bring as many as you can?

Or leave 'em all bar the ones you can REASONABLY fit in your pockets at home?

Now look what you've done tony! Now there'll be no room for food and alcohol due to excess technology on display!
