Well I'm pretty sure all (or at least most of us) do not need technology to eat, breathe, talk or drink... technology not used for this is excess in terms of a dinner out don't ya think? Ok... cellphones sure... and we may be geeks and all but still the technology is in excess to requirements therefore is excess :)

If people want a cheap place to stay the YHA is just around the corner, perhaps 100 meter stagger at best, and I have had many backpacker friends / family stay there over the years, it's really quite a good backpackers as they go (wasn't it just voted best YHA across ANZ?).  As for if I will be there, I will say yes I will be there but probably 8pmish+  All depends on how #3 works out.  I will be the sleep deprived one without square eyes due to taking care of child rather than being infront of computer.

I will bring my camera too, but the rest of my toys can stay at home! Dinner tables at restaurants tend to be pretty cramped, especially with big crowds.

While we all love the toys, alasta is correct. It's not a place for large laptops, and so on - and I am bringing the most toys anyway... Note that I may not be leaving with them. Some of you may have to carry things away ;)

And here is why I don't recommend bringing too many toys... Dell has joined the sponsors list and it may get heavier on the way out:

freitasm: Dell is participating with a Dell Photo Printer.
