Wondering if someone from TelstraClear is able to be off assistance with how the process works
 - seems to be easier to ask here and wait for an answer than spending hours on hold and then talking to a CSR who isn't sure of the exact answers.

I think I have managed to convince the people that own the phone line at my current place of residence to cancel it so that I am able to move my snap internet connection to their new @home plans which require me to also move the phone connection (or remove it and go naked)

Just wondering if TC can let me know how this works from their end -- I assume that when I talk to snap, they put in a request and it gets handled in the background. Once services have been confirmed as swapped, I then chat to TC about cancelling the account.

If I call TC before the change over is in place, then it is possible to somehow delay the process as the 'disconnection order' will override the 'move order'.

I also assume that there will be a month or so that I have to pay both snap and TC for a phone line

Is this correct, or are there holes in this thought process that someone can help me with.
Thanks

Let me know if I'm understanding your story?

The people at the new house is has signed up for Telstraclear however you have convinced them and your your wanting to move your snap connection to the new property where the people are living at?

Assuming that's the story then no, the disconnection and the move order will not override each other.

If Customer A is disconnecting at Place B .
If customer B is moving an address from Place D to B.

This will not have an effect on anything

Say if customer A has a connection at B
and customer B is moving an address from D to B.

In this case then , wholesale will likely to hold your move order while they inform SNAP to ask you if the connection that belong to A belongs to you.
