I can't comment on the N70 but I just bought a 6680. They're on special for $550 at Dick Smith if someone can buy one for you at the one of the few shops that still have them (http://www.dse.co.nz/cgi-bin/dse.storefront/456bb0b50969378c2740c0a87f990751/Product/View/E3386). Comes with a 512MB card and Sennheiser headphones.

The 6680 seems to be slightly superior in specs to the N70 which seems unusual seeing as they look very similar/cost around the same and N70 is newer

I thought I saw a review that said the N70 was the newer version of the 6680 but they didn't think it was much of an upgrade (it may have even suggested that the 6680 was better but the N70 has better scores at Mobile phones UK

This review has a detailed comparison: http://www.mobile-review.com/review/nokia-n70-en.shtml

Go the N70, it is effectively an upgraded 6680. The main difference is 2Mp camera vs 1.3Mp, FM radio vs no FM radio and a bit more internal memory. There are a few deals with a big memory card, headphones etc for the N70 too!

The N70 is definitely a 3G phone with UMTS data.
