A friend has a Nokia E72 that will check email via the Nokia Messaging app if connected to WiFi or the VF NZ Gateway (Menu > Email > Settings > "Account Name" > Account Settings > Account Information > Access point) but not VF NZ Internet. However, the web browser can be used with VF NZ Internet. Will using VF NZ Gateway for email be problematic in regard to data charges or bring up any other issues?

What's more concerning is that there is someone out there still using a Nokia E72. The was quite possibly the worst phone I ever owned (In terms of the software anyway).
