My internet connection has gone down again, in the middle of my best ever Halo 2 multiplayer game

. Anyone else in the Miramar or Wellington area having their net go down?

I'm on TCL's 10M/2M Lightspeed plan.

I don't have a modem so I'm currently connected via GPRS....slow!!!

Fingers crossed it's back tomorrow

Gutted... I lost internet for some time last year and had no modem. It was awful!
Now I have a couple of PCI modems lying around, and my new laptop of course has a dialup modem in it.

I usually have a Sierra Aircard lying around here too.

I once lost TCL service for 2 weeks! Luckily I did have a modem and an account so wasn't entirely cut off. The modem is primarily used for sending faxes so a good backup. Didn't appear to lose service last night though admittedly at 1am was in bed!

I had a three day outage two weeks ago on my TCL lightspeed plan. I called and they couldn't figure out what the problem was, and I was assured there was no outage in my area. Three days later, I get a call advising that they had actually figured out it was a problem at their end after all and my net was back on.

To their credit they did give me a $15 account credit, although it is quite annoying going three days without internet or phone (Xnet VFX).
