Hello,

I know there are a few topics but none really helped me so looking for some help :)

Is Vodafone going Sky route or T-Box route? Sky rocks, T-box flops. Plus why 2 log ins for my internet/phone and my mobile, thought Vodafone were making it one log in?

Wheres all the Fiber info from Telstra gone, I thought Warpspeed was fiber?

Also my billing qs, I currently have:

Internet: 100GB cable and phone line with Telstra Clear (12 month contract up ages ago)
- $190

TV: Basic channels and movies with Sky (12 month contract up ages ago)
- $85

Mobile: Smart 120 with Vodafone (16 months left)
- $120

Total: $395

Vodafone inHome:
Phone line + Broadband with 150GB of usage + TV with SKY
From $163.11 then there's my $120 mobile and movies but it still seems way less than what I'm paying right? Or do I have it wrong?

Why isn't;t there a sky, mobile, home phone and internet package?

Just called up and saved some money :) Could of saved more but I would of had to jump on the T-box.

Seems fiber is on my road and the businesses on the other side but not at my house, makes no sense :(

It's only just happened, the staff are only relocating their offices this weekend, give them a few weeks to get their stuff sorted.

Curiously, it doesn't look like T-Box with Freeview only is available (new) any more.

Although, the bundle discount is fairly significant (compared to previously), and looks like the cheapest pricing for Phone + Internet + SkyTV currently available.

Seems like you can't get InHome T-Box/SkyTV, unless you purchase via the triple bundle - VF says "ka-ching" (fair enough, should be some return on investment).

Both I imagine - can't see that changing anytime soon. T-Box is by far the least expensive option of the two (if your an InHome customer and can live with it's quirks), and MySky is for the rest. Even given the pricing discrepancy I imagine VF make more money from T-Box than they do off MySky.

I tried getting Cable internet/phone and Sky TV but apparently I can only have T-Box. Mobile isn't included in bundles but surprisingly its more expensive now than when I got my deal, I got $1050 off a new mobile, now its only $850.

I suspect whoever you were talking with thought SkyTV == MySky, when in fact SkyTV == T-Box as well. Depends on which CSR (Level 1?) you're chatting with.
A couple of them don't even know their own product - seriously.

Ah, sorry. I might have misunderstood your question.

You want SkyTV, but you don't want it via the T-Box?
You want it via the MySky/HDi/+ decoder?

If that's the case, then I know it's possible. We had a similar setup a while ago (i.e. both InHome TC triple bundle AND MySkyHDi operating at the same time).

But, I think you'll have to contact Sky directly for the SkyTV part.

Edit: Re-read posts again. Okay, you should be entitled to a Sky discount on your existing MySky - if not already. If you already have the discount, then I don't see what the problem is...

You would have to take the fibre issue up with Chorus. One would presume that the fibre is existing Chorus P2P fibre, if you're prepared to pay the appropiate rate for this you could probably be connected. One would make the assumption however that the price point is significantly more than you're willing to pay for internet access.

Aye its what they call 'Business Fiber'. According to Chorus, its no in Christchurch anywhere soon unless its 'Business Fiber'.
