Fex: All the time Vodafone keep making up excuses that somethigns wrong with their system which is not allowing Telecom to port their numbers.

seems thats when a client attempts to port from Voda to TNZ there have been a tonne of issues, often atleast once a week there is a down time where the porting facilitator (not TNZ or Voda) cannot access Vodas systems to port the client across to TNZ.
the word on the street was that Voda weren't ready for this on April 1 and that is been obvious since. Although TNZ have had roaming issues with the odd ported client, generally from my experience the issues are not on the TNZ side of the fence, makes a change.
johnr: Sorry to say clearly you have not researched about number porting. I suggest you do this first. If you want to port a number away from a provider you dont contact the provider you are porting from but the provider you wish to port to only. Seems strange ringing vodafone to port your number off vodafone.
Fex: Vodafone started their testing when it was released lol.
Fex: True, their billing system was not up to speed. They taking a long time to fix it all, I mean almost a month and a half till they have full service again.
