At the moment, The cable by the tv has a splitter on it that splits it in to two, one for the Tbox and one for the Tbox modem.

When you plug the internet modem into where the tbox modem goes it works there too, So wondering if we could get a splitter that splits it into 3 and have both modems and the Tbox in the same place? The internet modem is normally in another room.

The cable for the TV and Internet are the same cable right, Just split in the box outside? So it shouldn't matter

Yes and no.

You're breaking your T&C's if you make changes to your wiring, and without knowledge of what you're doing it's easy to egress noise back into the cable network which can cause issues to both yourself and other users. If you do this you will be tracked down.

Your splitter and associated attenuator are installed and tested so signal levels are at an optimal level. Go and change this by yourself and you'll change the signal levels which could result in degraded service.

Just want to have wifi router more in the center of the house for better coverage, might mean running an ethernet cable

If you're worried about ethernet cables being run everywhere the alternative is to always use powerline networking as a link between the modem and the router. I've used such a setup with my parents and they're happy with how things are working.
