I have installed a new router at my house running the open source WW-DRT software. I want to enable IPv6 but I am not sure what settings I need. The WW-DRT tutorial on IPv6 lists many different types of IPv6 setups, I tried a couple of them but none worked to access IPv6 address outside my LAN.

I am using Vodafone's latest Cisco cable modem (if that makes a difference).

Any help would be appreciated.

I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't believe the cable network is IPv6 enabled so I don't think you'll be able to do what you are wanting.

Bugga. Well if it does not support it, that would explain why I can't get it going. I just assumed that by 2013 they would have it enabled. Going through an IPv4 bridge is not possible for me.

Cable network is not IPv6

IPv6 is not supported on the cable network, but you can get yourself an IPV6 tunnel with Hurricane Electric for free.
You can then configure your router to forward all IPv6 traffic across the tunnel, rather than the raw cable connection.

They show example configurations on the site to point to in the right direction when setting it up.

I'm currently running one on my Mikrotik router on a Vodafone cable connection without issue.
