PDA version is I9506XXUBNB2 which is the same as the new Australia Vodafone 4.3, but it is definitely listed as TNZ (New Zealand), was only released 21 hours ago so maybe it will take a while to show in KIES?
I noticed with 4.2.2 there was a specific Vodafone NZ version as well as a unbranded NZ version....

DrDee: listed as TNZ (New Zealand)

TNZ is Telecom New Zealand, not unbranded.

Well must say, 8 hours (albeit most of the time overnight), but less than 10% battery usage, will see how it goes during the day :)
Just can't wait for the vodafone version so I don't get that telecom logo on boot :grrrrr:

Everything seems to be working fine, the build numbers for the CSC, PDA and Modem are identical. All I can do now is wait for vodafone version to come out and flash over. Vodafone Aus and Telecom NZ were released at the same time, I can only assume that Voda NZ is only a matter of days away.

That, I haven't tried. I would expect that to be part of the modem software?

I do have the option of flashing the 4.2.2 modem and hidden image from the 4.2.2 firmware via ODIN (not sure if that is warranty breaking as they are official and ODIN is official flashing tool), but I would rather just wait and suffer for a few days if that is the worst case.

Odin is not an end user tool and changing roms with it will void warranty. I have had this confirmed a number of times by Samsung. Pretty much if you use anything other than Kies or OTA to modify the software you lose your warranty.

Shouldn't be a problem as I can flash Vodafone 4.3 via kies once it is released and no one will know ;-)

BTW 4g is working fine, can't confirm if it is cat3 or cat4 speed yet.
