Anyone know how to activate a ported (from telecom to vodafone) SIM? It says to calll 777 but there's no options in the menu for how to activate the sim. (Im the middle of trying to do stuff, so can't sit on hold atm)

Surely there's a way to activate a prepay SIM without having to talk to a human being?

Just calling 777 activates it, Nothing else to do further and you can't port a SIM from TelecomNZ to VodafoneNZ you can only port a mobile number,

You should / would of activated the Prepay connection before doing the Port of the mobile number anyway, A port to Prepay is just a a number swap over the top of another and remains active and nothing else changes

example customer buys new Vodafone Prepay SIM pack with mobile number 021-1234567 and activates it they wish to port 027-1234567 to Vodafone from Telecom

Customer activates 021-1234567 by calling 777 and then ports in over the top 027-1234567 and 021-1234567 is just swapped to 027-1234567

And that is it nothing else,

SMS ' number ' to 521 and if the number you want is returned in the SMS then it's ported
