Just noticed on the Vodafone website you can no longer BYOD for a 12 month term, the plans look the same though.  I was gong to swap to one ;(.  Is this correct that a 12 month term is no longer offered?

the open term plans have replaced them

Red essentials on 24 months is $99, on an open term plan its $69

so they kinda of still exist you just aren't locked in for 12 months so it's a win

So it is - I hadn't spotted that.  I'm on a business plan and there isn't the open term option there (but there was a 12 month term before), is this an oversight?

If you go thru and pretend to get a plan then choose no phone it gives the 12 month option at a lower rate

unless you need local number on mobile the consumer plans seem slightly better for bring your own device

This used to happen, but doesn't any longer (on personal or business).  It must be my browser (Safari Mac) that doesn't like the website as it doesn't change for me.  You get 500Mb more data on business and I use the local number so it's worth the extra few $ for what I want it for.
