Hi,

I recently chose to go with Vodafone for UFB.
I have moved with some friends to a rental property and asked our property manager to contact the landlords for permission to have UFB installed which they happily said was fine.

I received a text saying we were identified as a Right Of Way, a quick Google showed me that the property looks like it has been subdivided on paper, but we are a SDU with no shared driveway etc. I rang Vodafone and asked if I would need to send a ROW consent off to the landlords, the guy said "yes".

I then got a call from Chorus. I instantly knew what it would be about so I explained we had been identified as a ROW but were a SDU and the lady on the phone said that it should be sweet.

All I really want to know is the most straightforward path to continue on so I don't go around in circles.

Do I get the landlords to fill in a ROW consent form for the physical property and the "a" and "b" properties that only exist on paper? Or just let it be?

Many thanks in advance for any help.
Matt

If you are down a right of way where both properties are owned by a single person/entity this does make the ROW consent process significantly easier. In short yes the owner would give consent for both properties.

Please note: I have a professional bias towards Vodafone.
