sbiddle: Vodafone is losing out big time in the marketplace with no Prepay TXT plan offering TXT's to both networks. You simply can't afford to be on Vodafone Prepay if you know people on Telecom who you TXT frequently. I just fail to understand why Vodafone haven't made TXT600 (or a customised TXT plan) available on PrePay, Vodafone used to be the cool network for young people, now so many have moved to Telecom that their friends all have as well primarily because of the TXT plans.
When was the last time you saw a boy racer car with "offerz 021xxxxxxx" on the back? All you ever see are 027 numbers and since you can't port to Vodafone Prepay you can be assured they are all Telecom connections.
johnr: I catch a train from middlemore hospital to Britomart every week day morning and its full of teenage kids and I would say %90 have GSM handsets and I would say %50 of the %90 are 3G (WCDMA) handsets!
