I have been told that our 4G RBI signal comes from the Vodafone Flaxmere Hastings mast. Can anyone tell me which band is used for this?

Sure it's L700 but many sites have L700 and L1800 or L700 and L2600 or L700 , L1800 and L2600 tri band 4G

The VodafoneNZ coverage map will reflect what band is used so use that to confirm

Hi Johnr,

Thanks for the reply. I did check the map but could not find the specific frequencies used at that mast, just generalities about the entire spectrum. Is there any way to find out exactly what band is being used for 4G? Just 700 mhz or also 1800 mhz? I'm thinking of experimenting with some higher gain antennas and would like to know what I actually need.

I have just checked it out and Flaxmere clearly shows 4G extended which is L700

It also reflects some L1800 depending on location in Flaxmere
