Hi folks,
Has anyone here transferred their homeline from Slingshot to Xnet? I already had my broadband with Xnet and earlier this week started the process of transferring the homeline to VFX. Soon after that I received email to say my account has been activated. Unfortunately nothing happened after that - my landline is still alive and with Slingshot.
I first rang Customer Support, who then transferred me to Technical, who then said there's something wrong with the transfer from Slingshot and he would get someone from Sales to call me on the same day. The day went past with no calls from anyone at Xnet. I then rang Sales to find out what's happening, and was told everything was fine and he couldn't see anything wrong. He said he'd get a Technical guy to call me.
This is beginning to feel a bit like worrying - that sneaky feeling nobody is sure what's wrong and is passing me around in hope that someone may accidently figure out what's happening. Sorry, I'm not being nasty about this - I realise this whole thing is probably still in "infancy" and nobody expected it to be this complicated, especially porting my number to VFX.
Has anyone done this successfully from Slingshot? If so, how did you do it? Any comments/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
