Hi guys,

Just last week I bought an Xbox One and I found that when playing Destiny I often don't get matched up with other players for multiplayer games.

Apparently the cause is that my Xbox considers my NAT to be "strict" and will only allow me to play with people with an "Open" type NAT.

I'm told the easiest way to fix this is to enable Upnp - but when logging into my Vodafone HG55a (firmware B38) I can't find any Upnp option.

Any ideas? My goal is to get an 'Open type' Nat.

What user are you logging in as to the modem?

If you know your home IP you can login to the router with that but the username is support i think...

Logged in as an admin and still can't see any Upnp options.

Perhaps the Hg566a doesn't have Upnp support?

Update to close off this topic (and anyone else who ever runs into a similar issue): Dylan over at the Vodafone Community forum confirmed the HG556a doesn't have Upnp (although it's a pretty old modem so not unexpected) and provided the following guide for setting up port forwarding for Destiny.

Go onto your xbox and get the IPV4 address it should look like 192.168. after you do that port forward the port 3074 or whatever the default xbox port is.
