I still have a connection, but websites won't load, netflix won't load, multiplayer games are unplayable. Wifi and enthernet. Vodafone DNS server's and 3rd party. I have reset the modem. It's completely unusable. Anyone else have this? Cable, Wellington Woodridge/Newlands.

Just came right, was on the phone to voda when it fixed itself, the rep said there was no reported issues. But then he tried to load Twitter and it would not work for him. SO maybe not completely sussed. Was done for around 30mins for me. Credit to the call centre, they picked up on the first ring.

Island Bay, 100/10 Mbps cable, measured by ethernet, 9:39pm:

My worst result of the year - 4% of line speed.

EDIT: Suddenly improved to 50/10 Mbps (50% line speed) at 10pm

One only hopes this will not be the case with UFB in the coming years, clearly Vodafone are not investing enough in their network whilst not offering ufb in areas it has its own cable, although I get there reasoning it's a bit unfair on their loyal customers.

It has been claimed that the fibre roll-out has been deliberately delayed in "cable" areas.

This policy has been repeatedly denied, which means that it is probably true smile

It would be less "unfair" if the cable network worked properly.

I have the misfortune to live in a "cable" area where performance is notoriously bad (Island Bay), and where fibre will not be available until late 2019.
