Moving away from 2 degrees after price hike. Vodafone tell me PrePay & Go is 20c per call and 1c per text.

How come text is so cheap is there a catch ?

Also they say I can bring my existing number, but need a Vodafonee SIM card but when i go to buy one

(o their website) it wants me to choose a number that's not mine. Also says "triple SIM". Whats that ?

Thanks for any info on this.

You buy a SIM with a Prepay number already attached and then port in the number you want to keep over the top of the number that came attached to the SIM

http://www.vodafone.co.nz/mobile-plans/switch-to-vodafone/

Triple SIM covers Standard , Nano , Micro

OK..  have bought one.

I notice something about 99c per month . Will that affect me?  Says something about

*99c has been added as a monthly recurring amount to any On Account mobile or broadband..

Whats an "on account mobile"? ?\

Thanks.

On account is not Prepay, On account is getting a monthly invoice for mobile services

Ok, thanks...  guess it doesn't apply.  Just curious it told me that when buying prepay.

Thanks, I can't see anything there about putting in a number. I can get someone to help me later tonight but just concerned

as my wife was told by the help desk she couldn't take her number with her to vodafone, but I was told I could (with my number)

So we want to be sure !
