Hi Maverick & Wendy - sorry to bug you in the forums but the Xnet sales line weren't sure what to do in this situation:

Currently have a Telecom line, Xnet Tolls & River adsl. Next month we are moving to a new house in a new subdivision so I thought it would be a good time to switch to Fusion.
The new house has a line running from the demark box back to a Telecom light-green box at the end of the driveway. I had a look inside the box and the house line is not currently connected to the line from the exchange (but all the wiring is there ready to go).
Internal house wiring is also sorted.

The sales team said we would probably need a full install from Xnet at $410 - is this correct? Do we need to contact Telecom or Downers/Transfield to connect up the box?

Not sure how to progress on this, might it be just easier to get  Telecom to switch our homeline over and get Fusion at a later date?

Many thanks,  Matt....

$410??  Do telecom charge this as well?  Otherwise might be cheaper to sign up for telecom homeline for 1 month and then switch.
