My girlfriend has a Vodaphone 715 which has a music player in it. When I put my card in it won't see my songs. How do I make it see the songs on my card?

You shouldn't have  to as MP3 on the same type of cards should be able to be played on any other phones. What does it actually say on the screen when you searched for it?

Being a Vodafone branded handset you may not be able to play non Vodafone DRM'd songs - ie songs downloaded from the VF music store.

There is two tabs for the phone and the mmory card. When I click on memory card it makes me download music. There is a option at the bottom to make a new folder.
I had this card in my HCT Titan and in my friends Nokia OK.

. Choose from a huge

selection of current and classic tracks. Only in a 3G area.

Music player

Your phone is also a portable music player. You can

download music from Vodafone live! or transfer it to the

memory card.

Go to
Menu > Music > Music store to download and

own more music.

To create a new playlist, press or Menu > Music

then Playlist.

Open a playlist, then press Options > Add, and add the

tracks you want.

Choose your playlist and press Options > Play.

Followed this?

But it still don't let me use mp3s from my memory card or pictures either. Which is shame.

Can I just get some clarity - are you able to "see" the files off the card? Or are you unable to actually view the files on the card? (I assume you say that you can see the files as you mention putting one file on the phone)

I'm pretty sure that that phone won't read SDHC cards - so anything over 2GB will not be read.  I did have the phone for a while, but never really tried doing that sort of stuff on it.  Have you tried adding the files to the playlist in the built in player?

Thankyou for all your help. It now works.
