Hi,

I wonder if this service will be available for saturn subscribers?

http://www.nzherald.co.nz/section/3/story.cfm?c_id=3&objectid=10507459

"TelstraClear confirmed that its involvement was for customers of its cable TV operations in Wellington and Christchurch which provide customers with a fast broadband service."

Does this mean Sky subscribers will be able to use their Telstra cable for this service or does it mean Saturn and Sky subscribers will be able to use their Telstra cable for the service??

Sounds like a good start.

Wombat

Are their Sky subscribers who also have TCL cable? I wouild have thought if you have TCL cable then you should take advantage of the package pricing and get the Sky service over the cable.

I am guessing the service would be for those users who are TCL customers who get Sky TV via cable. But nothing to stop providing TCL cable customers who use Sky TV from a dish from also accessing the service. It's just that the billing might get messy - on which bill does the $5 appear?

Staying in Wellington. Check out my AirBnB in the Wellington CBD.  https://www.airbnb.co.nz/h/wellycbd  PM me and mention GZ to get a 15% discount and no AirBnB charges.

I would say there is a chunk of people., people who can't be bothered waiting for TCL to bring out a PVR product who have switched back to sky for MySky...
