New mobile and have been trying to sent up all my apps and keep having the same issue. App says I have been sent an authentication text to my mobile and nothing happens. For a few I have managed to use other options but I have quite a few ie steam (guard), discord, dropbox and so on that are stuck.

I have read that sending at night vs sending in daytime can be an issue but does any one have ideas on a fix or know if this is a vodafone thing?

No difference between day or night that is rubbish made me LOL, You need to contact the company sending you the Auth SMS for support not related to VodafoneNZ as they only deliver the SMS once it reaches their SMPP Gateway

Have you changed mobile only, or ported from one telco to another?

If you ported the number you might have to disconnect the old number from the profiles then connect again.

Mobile device change only. Mate 8 to Mate 10. Used Huawei backup to move apps over and some things did fully move over some did not weird was Google, Microsoft and Authy all moved perfect. Possible however is when original app was setup was done via 2degrees where had no issues with 2fa and I am now Vodafone (moved there a year ago but had Mate 8 for 2 years).

I was more hoping to see if anyone else had issues for 2FA vodafone and options could try as this is not just one app with issues when yes I would work via them. This is getting zero 2fa texts at all from multiple vendors. The night/day this is (or was) actually real as some providers change what routing use subject to when it is sent. Cannot find the article right now but was something read ages/years ago when had an same issues.
