Hey you all,

Amidst they hype many people have overlooked the OTHER data addon plans that Vodafone has released with the iPhone. On the pricing page there are also two Broadband for mobile plans that are now the SAME as on Vodem/VMC, as long as you take a 24month Term.

200MB $29.95 + 200MB topup for $10 more when you reach your limit
1GB     $49.95 + 1GB topup for $10 more when you reach your limit

And you can put these on ANY voice plan.

Objectivism: And you can put these on ANY voice plan.

Not strictly true, (but probably 90% right :)) reading the blurb on the page, you can have these data plans on the following plans "You Choose, talkZone or Corporate"

So legacy "Get" customers, along with any other plan not mentioned there will not be eligible,

Also you get no phone subsidy, so will pay between 980 and 1100 odd for your phone.

That may be true, but the fact is (if you make few phone calls ala prepay)

choose20         $19.95
broadband200  $29.95
                       -------
                      $49.90

is a lot less than the $80 for the iPhone250 plan.. what am I missing? theres room to add TXT packages in there too..
sure upfront cost is more but TCO is a lot less over 2 years, and then ongoing after that

even adding in the 1GB data brings TCO only slightly more than iPhone250, and monthly cost $10 less

doesn't seem like a bad option to get your 1GB data fix
