Hi,

I have VFX (Fusion) but my Panasonic dect phone is not displaying the caller ID. It just shows as blank.

The manual says that it supports caller ID. It is model KX-TCD410NZ.

The Caller ID is showing up in MY WAG54GP2 as "Last caller number".

Xnet help desk suggested that I turn off zero insertion, but there is no option on the phone for this. Anyway, extra zeros arn't the problem, I'm not displaying any numbers

Can anyone help please?

This is interesting we actually had this model around here and had no issues with caller ID not displaying, looking at the call details of the 3 calls yesterday, only one was was restricted the other 2 presented correctly, your account is fine so no changes there.

Sorry for the dumb question here, but I take it this phone has worked with CallerID before ?

No, never used caller ID on it before.

Phone documentation says it has this feature, and I have also tried changing the options to display the caller ID while the call is in progress, and still no joy. Is it worth removing the leading zero at the Xnet end to see if this helps?

It's not a biggy, just thought someone may have struck this before.

Have you tried using either a different phone, with caller ID capability, or a caller display unit, to rule out the phone playing silly buggers?

No not at this point, not until you get it working then you can, it should actually be displaying by default so it could actually be the phone itself as it all looks good from here.

Hi.

Xnet have now finished transferring my telecom number to my VFX service, resetting my profile in the process GRRR!!, but caller ID has now miraculously started working on my Panasonic Dect phone.

I didn't change anything my end! Mmmm...
