Hi folks,

I currently have an vodafone router (Ultrahub I think) connected to enable fibre. It works fine.

I have an older vodafone router, I think its just a normal 659. I’d like to connect it to the enable broadband hub via one of the additional lan ports so I can connect my work machine to it.

Does anyone know if this is possible? I have tried but just get a cant connect to DNS server.

only one ONT port is provisioned at a time, the other three are used when u swap providers, they provision the next available port to suit.

plug the wan port of the hg659 into your current lan??? in guessing you are after some separation?

Yes, separation basically (or should I say isolation). I dont want the second network to pick up settings from the first. I couldn’t find a setting on the first router to have an orange/amber zone for guest devices.

Will daisy chaining like that bridge the two networks?

I can be done, not the best router to do it with (double natting) . It will be very basic isolation, not secure isolation
Expect a lot of headaches , you'll need to disable VLAN on the 2nd one (?)

Buy a 'normal' router than you can actually fully configure to suit
Or something with separate 2 LAN zones .
