Well it seems that Voadafone/iHug are blocking some sites - I have a hosted CRM solution that went live this week, has been fine until this morning.

I get to work, try to log-in, and page not found.

Tried it with IE/Firefox/Chrome all with the same result. Tried it via the company next door who aren't with Vodafone and everything is fine. Is this really the way this company want to treat SMEs?

Without my CRM I can't run my business - which to me proves yet again what an awful company Vodafone are. We try to cal lthem and after pressing god knows how many buttons we get cut off, and if by some fluke we actually speak to a person, they put us through to press more buttons, go in a queue and then get cut off.

Any one else having issues with iHug/Vodafone?

It's very unlikely that Vodafone are intentionally blocking this site - unless the URL / domain is listed by an organisation such as the Internet Watch Foundation (IWF) as containing child abuse images. Even then, I'm not sure if Voda have signed up to the IWF feed or similar.

What kind of message/error are you getting? 404? 503?

If you can give us the URL it might shed some light on the matter.

Knew I forgot something - the url is http://insurancemarket.i-track.net/mainFrameSet.htm

Eventually spoke to someone at iHug and they are looking into it.

But unsurprisingly they haven't fixed it yet.

Having similar problem - since switching to VF broadband can't access sister-company website (404s) but ok through Xtra, etc.
Talking to VF CSR he thinks their DNS server has "wrong" records and is asking for forced reload?
Interested in how previous problem was fixed as a reload is a reload isn't it?

If the DNS server can't match the website address with the proper IP then of course websites won't load properly, whether a reload/refresh has been done.

That's why you always use a backup or different DNS for these odd occasions, like OpenDNS. Otherwise, remember the IP Laughing
