Is anybody else experiencing really spotty connections tonight?

Cable in Christchurch, periodically extremely long connection time, occasional timeouts, to everywhere, overseas and domestic both (including geekzone).

Started I'd say around 8pm.  Driving me mental, everything will be fine for like 5 minutes and then grinds to a near halt for a minute.
