Hi all.... I feel like a bit of a noob asking this question but I dont know where else I can get the answer from.
The story goes like this:Set up port-forwarding on my router about a month ago to get better speeds out of u-torrent, all good, got the speeds I wanted, but then about a week later my little xnet usage icon turned orange, and my net stopped going, and I was informed that my account had be disabled, and to contact xnet.
What the person on the phone told me was that under some new laws, it was the isp's responsibility to insure their users are committing piracy offenses, and that my account had been disabled as a warning, i.e. do it again and they'll be more serious consequences; but the lovely phone rep told me, almost under his breath at the end of the conversation, that if I set up private tracking, or something like that, then they can't watch what I'm doing, and i'm all safe.
I've had a good look on the net trying to find out what this "private tracking" is, or how I set up utorrent so I dont get my self busted but i'm still none the wiser. Any one know what I need to do to keep myself safe from getting busted?
I'm sure there is a real simple answer, but i've got know idea.
Thanks in advance!!!
