Dear All,

I have the following

1. Xnet Fusion
2. VFX Service
3. SIP Trunk for Asterisk
4. Running Trixbox

1. When my internet service goes down (regardless of the origion) or my DSL modem reboots, my VFX IP Trunk registration fails to re-register.

2. I have to reset Asterisk for the Trunk Regsitration for it to re-register.

3. I have checked my Trixbox settings and to my knowledge, I believe I have the settings correct.

Does anyone else have this issue? What settings am I missing on my trixbox?

Kind Regards

George

What model of router are you using?
Do you have a static internet IP address?
Also try using opendns servers: 208.67.222.222 & 208.67.220.220 (in Trixbox and your router).

Are you using your router's IP for your DNS server setting in CentOS or have you set external DNS servers?

Thanks for your reply.

1. I am using my own DNS server (W2K3) as the primary and my router as the secondary (both internal addresses on my network).

Thanks

How does your Trixbox get it's IP address?
- if it is set in Trixbox as static, change to dynamic; then in the router set Trixbox to receive a reserved IP address. So in other words, your are dynamically assigning a static IP to your Trixbox.

I suspect some IP routing is not being updated correctly when you loose DSL.
