You got this voucher as a contract resign on Telecom, right? So how much did you have to pay to break the contract? Or are you just signing a new contract with Vodafone while paying the Telecom one?

I was never on a Telecom contract. I was on Go Onebill, and got the letter offering $299 handset, Didn't want to be with telecom anymore so went to Voda website and used my 027 number and got $299 credit.

Glad Vodafone accepted the letter - because that's is not "the voucher" they are talking about. I guess the store person doesn't really know what the voucher was and accepted anything...

Lucky you - may npot work for someone else unless Vodafone makes this a policy.

I believe the order was places online, so they will not have seen it. Lots of others have been saying their 027 number on the VF website gives a 'discount'.

I actually wouldn't be surprised if this is just a re-badging of an existing 'switcher' deal.

They may request a copy of the voucher though!

Selected "base20" and added the phone and it gave me $299 off the retail price, seems to work for Base, talker and Texter 24 month terms.

As a side note, there are 6 digit numbers in the ranges again!!!

(I did not proceed as this is shown as an example only, they will probably request the voucher confirmation rendering this useless, also the early termination charges could be higher)
