The latest Epitiro report has an interesting bit about TelstraClear (pg 13):

TelstraClear's Quarterly Performance

This report does not include TelstraClear's cable and DSL results this quarter after it was found that the plan being measured was not what TelstraClear considered to be their premium residential plan. The plan being measured was not considered to be comparable to that being measured for the other service providers.

Hmm, so presumably they were testing one of the HighSpeed plans. OK, fair enough...

TelstraClear is now working with Epitiro to migrate the ADSL2+ premium broadband and cable services to new plans.

This, however, is confusing, and intriguing. Migrating ADSL2+ users and cable users to new plans? Is PDQ even ADSL2+? Are the "new plans" just referring to the existing LightSpeed plans, or are there new plans coming out? And why does TelstraClear need to work with Epitiro? Very strange.

Edit: Wow, this editor is really annoying. I try to strikethrough one part of a paragraph and it doesn't stop the strikethrough. Even when I edit the HTML, it moves it right to the end once I save it.

PDQ is just Telecom wholesale ADSL2+

Performance is good, basically the same as Telecom retail pro plan.

Telstra also has it's own ADSL over it's own network in several areas it also has it's own VDSL network available in certain areas.

Well, does anyone have any thoughts? Does the text imply there are new plans coming, or is it just badly worded?

Just badly worded. COnsider it to mean:

TelstraClear is now working with Epitiro to migrate the ADSL2+ premium broadband and cable services to new plans.

Get them to upgrade the accounts to the current premium plans for cable and ADSL.

That's what I was thinking it might mean, but this part

implies that there were old ADSL2+ plans, different to the current ones. Is that the case, or just more bad wording?
