How were the stock levels the last time you went into a vf store? Any, nil? Just wondering if the stores still have stock because the vf online store has been out of stock for the past 3-4 days as far as I can tell.

I want to purchase with a plan, I guess Dunedin or Queenstown would be my closest stores. Might have to call them in the morning.

Hi - while in the Lampton Quay, Wellington VF store on Saturday I overheard a sales assistant telling a customer that they had a few 32GB iPhone 3GS's...

Cheers,

I spoke with VF in Dunedin this morning, they have a black 16gb put aside for me. As an aside does anyone know if there are any benefits to porting my xt number over.

I know with Telecom they always had the $300 win back system, does vodafone have anything like that other than the xt vouchers they were accepting?

Just wondering if it might be better to get a completely new numer and hang on to my xt phone for a while or to start afresh with vf?

XT speeds are faster at moment. The iphone is "Made for the 850 XT" network is a quote mentioned earlier elsehwere on the forum.

Theres a thread on here about data speeds.

I have a 32Gb white and im on VF Iphone Plan ( Full disclosure)
Sorry I realise Im slightly off topic

give a call to customer service 777 they should be able to give you some credit or atleast try and match competitors offer of $300...usually telecos try and match their competitors offer even if they dont advertise they usually have few offers in place specially if you tell them you are porting from XT..

I got my iphone today at vf in Dunedin. I happened to glance through the door when the salesperson went to get the phone and there seemed to be a pretty good stack of them. I wonder why the vf online store is always sold out? I guess it is better for vf to sell iphones on contract but they must be making something out of the ones they sell online as well.
