Yes. You can get Prepay card and use their $10/100MB a month package.

If you have an unlocked Telstra modem then I recommend you get a prepay pack from Telecom New Zealand instead of Vodafone.

That's because Telecom operates on the same band (850 MHz) as Telstra, which means you will have 3G coverage wherever you go. Vodafone operates in different bands (900/2100 MHz which will not give you the same coverage).

Thanks . You are a credit to your country. In oz I use woolworths card and it gets very cheap national and international calls. also they are bringing out a prepay, $2 for a sim, 15 c connection and 15 c pre 30 secs on Optus network. If tha helps any one coming over. also

do you have anything like this there.

If you just want voice try either 2Degrees or Vodafone. If you want data using the Telstra modem try Telecom.
