Had our work connection which was on TelstraClear copper ADSL which still had line sync and PPP connection up but was not passing traffic until a reboot (Newmarket) and one out South with the same problem which I'm pretty sure is on TelstraClear copper/DSLAM as well.
So heads up for those with TelstraClear copper your customers may need a reboot in the morning.
Or it could be completely coincidental...

Something happened which affected everyone and i couldn't get through to their default gateway either (again, PPP was up). The helpdesks were totally overloaded and impossible to get through (it auto hangs up on you after a prerecorded message)
Good to know, my partner's place was experiencing this issue, I thought I needed a new router as I couldn't figure out why the internet was not working.
I've had two more connections in Newmarket and in Queen Street both need reboots to come right. I suspect we will have a few more roll in before I've finished my coffee.
It's a little bit deceptive as looking at the router stats, it has both ADSL and PPP connections with valid IP addresses, just no data is passed so I suspect a router in the middle died and now the tunnels think they are up but arn't.
