Hey peoples, i signed up for You Choose a few months ago and got 30 free video calling minutes each month for the duration of my contract, did anyone else get this? I only ask because when I make a video call, the video calling minutes dont get deducted from my account, it always just says 30 minutes remaining.... anyone else get this?

I did not get any free video addons for joining you choose, but didn't really expect any.

Instead I got a one off batch of additional minutes because the local Palmerston North Vodafone shop did was not able to action the plan changes by the following day as promised.

Hmmm. You realise that if this is a problem with their billing system it is now known to them and it will be probably fixed soon, meaning you will loose the free video calling?

It's not free, it does use up the 30 mins but it just doesnt let me know how many i have left, ei it always says 30 remaining.

guess what...i had the same thing re my vid call time..but as maurico said once vodafone saw the comment its all over...so now the meter counts down on mine now...

You got it wrong, the problem wasn't that they gave me FREE VIDEO CALLING, the problem was that the allocated video calling minutes i had remaining didn't count down as i used them.

If i used over 30 vid calling mins, i would start to be charged even though my account still said I had 30 remaining.

I never once said I got free video calling.

I’ve since called up Vodafone and they have acknowledged there is a fault with counting down video calling minutes. But they do charge for minutes when you go over your limit.
