Bellow are stats from my modem I am on adsl2+ but just wondering if my speed is bit on slow side. Any help would be much appreciated. Have removed my IP addresses

usually you get in the teens but with that line attenuation at 45dB you are a long way from the exchange and im not sure you can expect much more , if you were on ASDL you would be lucky to get to 3000Kbps , are you on a cabinet?

Common sense is not as common as you think.

45dB attenuation implies about 3km of line to the cabinet/exchange.

Though it doesn't show exactly where the cabinets and exchanges are you can look up your address here to see what cabinet/exchange you are connected to and roughly how far you a from the centre of the area covered.

If it doesn't look like your line goes 3km you probably have some kind of wiring issue at your place.

With the following signal, I get a consistent 12Mbps (speedtest,net) on Telecom NZ using ADSL2+
This includes a VDSL filter and CAT5 home cabling.

Not sure how to check that all I can say is that on naked broadband with vodafone. Ho would I check if I was on a cabinet

Just spoke to vodafone and they said that because the lines in my area are still copper rather than fibre optic that I am still going through the exchange rather than cabitnet and that I am about 2km from exchange but operator said that my speed was good compared to a lot of other customers that areonly getting like 2Mbps

Enter your address on the Telecom Wholesale checker (link below), it will tell you what cabinet/exchange you are connected to.

If you are connected to a cabinet but your line is being passed through to terminate at the exchange you will get a much higher line by having Vodafone switch your line to terminate on the cabinet.
