G'day Folks

Hope you've all had a great Christmas with family and friends.

I use a R201 for my internet and an iPhone.

Over the last couple of weeks:
  • downloading emails is choppy but better than downloading from websites
  • accessing websites, they take a while to start loading and then seem to stop and start
  • downloads from the internet seem to get half way through and then hang
  • had a noticeable increase in dropped calls
  • had a noticable increase in the phone searching for a signal
  • press the call button and it takes 30 to 45 seconds to make a connection or just drops
  • SMS seem to take a lot longer to send.
Haven't logged these as a fault as they're a bit too random to pin down but am wondering whether:
  • anyone else has noticed similar issues (I see there was a thread about slow initial response times to web requests a short while ago but this probably isn't related. Have posted this on the Vodafone forum too.)
  • Vodafone is aware a problem with or done any work recently on it's Kilbirnie/Evans Bay/ Shelly Bay sites in Wellington.
Thanks n cheers, Gobit

Quick update

Looks like nobody else here is having issues so it sounds like the cause could well be cell breathing, see the comments here;
