BigMal: I'm still suffering congestion in Miramar.  I logged a fault but have yet to hear anything back.  25Mb down at 8pm on a 100Mb connection.

@BigMal what is the speed off-peak?

I'm interested that your "peak time" is 7pm.

For most of us on cable it's later - typically 8-10pm:

Of course those times are GMT and we're in NZDT now, so +13, so 6:53am is 7:53pm, just before 8pm..?

Fingers crossed when my cable is connected next week we get decent speed during peak time. Johnsonville/Raroa here, are there any others near the top of Fraser Ave?

This may not be the appropriate thread for this, but I'd rather not create a new one. Long story short, our connection is completely dead in the water today in Island Bay. Since many of us in this region have been experiencing issues, I'm curious if anyone else is affected?

EDIT
Looks like the connection is back up now. Hoorah!

Pretty solid here. Wasn't online this morning to experience any bumps at our place. Will test again tonight for the dreaded Saturday evening jam.

No internet for the past few hours in Khandallah so I can't run a speed test:-(

EDIT

Mea culpa

My TP Link modem was not responding at all (the Internet was down) so I factory reset it (running Gargoyle) and tried to restore settings from a backup. That didn't work so entered all the settings manually. Got back onto the router but neglected two important settings. Was so focused on getting the DNS right for Unotelly forgot the static and gateway address!  So even when the network came up I still had no access and didn't realise until when I called the help desk and received no canned message about "customers in Khandallah will be experiencing bla bla bla)

So now my speed is
