Down in Khandallah also. Using my Skinny mobile phone. It's been up and down like a yoyo lately. Bring on UFB

Staying in Wellington. Check out my AirBnB in the Wellington CBD.  https://www.airbnb.co.nz/h/wellycbd  PM me and mention GZ to get a 15% discount and no AirBnB charges.

Island Bay. We're actually up! However, I can't connect to the Speedtest.net Vodafone server - maybe that's related? Latency's a bit higher as well, but the connection in general is alright.

Yes, completely amateur last 2 months. Not long to UFB here, luckily.

UFB? Hell, I'd be happy to get off this HFC and get xDSL.

Just got cable installed today, have only connected one PC directly to it via Cat6, at midday today I was getting 85/10, currently hovering around 94/9 which is so-far-so-good. Is there sometimes a settling-in period for new installs?

Also - if I do have issues, besides the screenshot of Speedtest.net, are there other good facts to be reporting? I've got one of the Technicolor black wifi modems, if the firmware used on them differs greatly.

edit: I should mention these are great speeds for me. Given my previous broadband connection barely gave me 800KB/sec download at best (and patchy at that), I certainly can't complain that much about getting only 85% of what I was expecting :)

Friday night. Peak hours (9:15 pm). Island Bay. We're still seeing congestion issues. It's not horrible like it was a few months ago, but peak hours are still very much degraded.

Any new news, by chance? It's been pretty quiet here.
